Office Movers in the UAE
An office move has one rule that a home move does not: the business has to keep running. Nobody minds if a sofa arrives an hour late, but a company cannot lose a morning of work because the servers are still in a truck. That is the part we plan first.
Spring Field Movers has moved small studios of six people and full floors of two hundred. We come and look at your current office, count the desks, chairs, screens, cabinets and IT gear, and ask what has to be working first thing on Monday. Then you get one fixed price and a plan with times on it, not a rough idea.
Most of our office jobs happen after 6pm, on a Friday night or over a weekend. Staff leave on one day and come back to a desk that is already built, with the screen, keyboard and phone in the same place as before.
Your IT Gear Is Handled Separately
Computers, servers and network racks never travel loose with the furniture. They are packed in their own boxes with foam, labelled by user or by rack position, and loaded last so they come out first.
Before anything is unplugged we take photos of the back of the machines. That sounds simple, but it is the reason nobody spends Monday morning hunting for the right cable. Every cable is bagged and taped to the machine it came from.
If you have a server room we work with your IT team or your supplier on the shutdown and start-up order. We move the hardware safely and let them do the switching on. Screens are moved in padded screen boxes, never wrapped in a blanket and hoped for the best.

Old boxes, wrapping and any furniture you are throwing out removed the same day.
Moving Files and Confidential Papers
Paper is heavy and it is easy to lose. We use sealed archive boxes with a number on each one and a list of what went inside. HR files, contracts and finance records travel in boxes that are taped shut in front of your staff and opened by them at the other end.
If you keep old records that nobody touches, this is the best time to send them to storage instead of paying rent on the space they use. We can take them straight from the old office to our warehouse and bring them back whenever you ask.
Keys, stamps, cheque books and petty cash should always stay with a manager, in a bag, in a car. We tell every client the same thing, because it saves a stressful phone call later.
Timing, Trucks and Crew Size
A twenty person office is usually one night: three to four men, one closed truck and a supervisor. A full floor takes two nights and two trucks, and we normally move the storage and meeting rooms first so the desks have a clear run.
The crew works to a written time plan. You get one phone number for the whole job, and that person is on site from the first box to the last screwdriver.

How much does an office move cost?
It depends on the number of staff, the amount of furniture and IT, and the two buildings. After a short site visit you get one fixed written price. Nothing is added later.
Will my business lose working days?
Almost never. Most offices move at night or over a weekend, so people leave one office and arrive at the next one ready to work.
Do you set the computers back up?
We reconnect screens, keyboards, mice and docking stations at each desk. Servers and network switching are done with your IT team, who handle the software side.
Can you move us in stages?
Yes. Many clients move the store room and archives first, then the desks a week later. We plan it around your calendar.
What about the furniture we no longer want?
We take it away. It can go to your buyer, to charity or to disposal, and we can store it if you have not decided yet.
Are the crews insured?
Yes. Our staff are trained and insured, and extra cover is available for high value equipment.
