When you are strapping dozens of cartons a day, doing it by hand is slow and the tension is never the same twice. A PP strapping machine takes over: you feed the strap around the box, press it into the slot and the machine tensions, heat seals and cuts it in a second or two. Tension is adjustable, so light cartons are not crushed and heavy ones are held properly. On a packing bench or at the end of a line it pays for itself quickly in time saved and rework avoided.
