Stretch film is the cheapest insurance a pallet can have. As it is drawn around the load it stretches and then tries to pull back, which squeezes the cartons together into a single stable block that will not shift on a corner or under braking. The clear film lets you read labels through it, and the layers keep dust, water and curious hands away from the goods. It works by hand or on a wrapping machine, and one roll covers a lot of pallets.
